(Answered) Sensor ranges and hidden units
« on: 02 December 2020, 17:37:04 »
From the double blind rules in TacOps (corrected second printing/old omnibus hardcopy), page 220, there is a note on how active probes and ECM function with different ranges than in standard Total Warfare rules.  There is a note on hidden units "... cannot be spotted except by the methods outlined in the standard game rules."

Do active probes use the range band from the Sensor Ranges Table on page 222 when detecting hidden units?  Or do they use the standard Total Warfare range?

Standard TW ranges.  Double Blind Rules and Hidden Rules are two different mechanisms.
