Can you confirm or deny "Infantry Platoons with medics could also get the +1d6 damage for having sufficient machine guns?" Somehow, it's an unaddressed edge case …

I think I found it, myself:
  • pp.213 TW
  • pp.148 TM the double asterick footnote reads "Platoon to-hit and damage bonus only if assigned to a minimum of 2 troopers per squad"
  • pp.152 TOAU "special weapon effects dependent on the number of troopers per squad—such as Heavy Burst Fire—will be affected by any reductions."
