Okay, Tactical Ops p 332 states that Naval C3 takes up 1% of the weight of any ship it is mounted in, and the cost on p 409 states that naval C3 costs 100 000 C-Bills per ton. The description of naval C3 on p332 also states that any tonnage required for additional fire control in a ship with NC3 is doubled. According to the Aerospace Construction Costs on Tech Manual p283 the ship's fire control computer has a fixed costy of 100 000 C-Bills.
My question is, does the 100 000 C-Bill cost per ton apply just to the tonnage of the NC3 system, or does it also apply to the extra tonnage needed for additional fire control?
