The latest TacOps Errata (v3.03) page 71 of 98 changes page 350 of the single volume TacOps (to what is on page 162 of TO:AU&E; page 150 of TO:AU&E is silent on Recon Camera construction rules) with regard to Mast Mounts. Specifically, it bans "TAG systems of any kind". Where do Recon Cameras fit into this rule? They have TAG-like abilities for spotting, but aren't actually TAG. Further, Recon Cameras are Type E which would be permitted by the change. More simply:
Can Recon Cameras be mounted in Mast Mounts?
I believe the answer is yes, but want to make sure.

It's been a month, and as predicted this very question came up in a thread on this forum (from someone else) about two weeks after I posted the question. I had hoped it was an easy one to answer.

Passive-aggressiveness towards volunteers is sure to speed things along.

I'll be politely direct then:
It's been a month, and in accordance with the rules forum norms... Bump.

Bump.
Thank you

The answer is yes, even if the mast mount is superior at spotting for IDF over the recon camera. Despite this, there is some edge utility for the camera

Thank you, sir! Off to find the thread from two weeks ago to spread the good news!
