Custom foam inserts for AGOAC and Clan Invasion boxes...

Since I like the box set art so much and since BT scene is non-existent where I live, I opted to use the AGOAC and Clan Invasion boxes for carrying my miniatures, as they look cool and representative, to attract attention. With that in mind, I opted to create the foam inserts for them myself, from the upholstery foam I bought.






Since my Lyran Guards has expanded beyond the expected 16 mechs, I had to switch to using a bigger box, this time for 24 mechs. (maybe I am kidding myself and I will need an even bigger one)

Great work man!  I love the Beginner Box and AGoAC box art too.  Great idea!

Haha, no, the papers are Вечерње Новости / Evening news from Serbia. If I were born and living in Russia, I wouldn't be complaining about a non-existent BT community. Heck, they even had their crowdfunding project for a localized AGOAC box set back in 2019 I believe.

Not only is the artwork topnotch, the cardboard quality is exceptional. I actually believe these boxes can provide a decent protection to the minis, and will be able to withstand some weight.

Glad to hear it, and yes, the cardboard boxes are very durable.  I still use an old Reinforcements box for my old cardboard maps.  Cheers!  :thumbsup:

Yeah, the boxes are great. Had some leftover anti-static foam from a shipment at work and cut it to fit the bottom. It's not quite as nice as yours, but I might post some pics of my own when I get home.

I've done something similar.  I used Luann board {floor underlayment} with speaker wires for handles.  cut to fit into 18 gal totes.  For most assaults and heavies, I used 3 or 4 inch foam. Lights and mediums, 1.5 to 2 inch foam. the totes are a bit on the heavy side  each holding layer holding 25 to 40 mechs each.
