If I am going from Depth 1 to Depth 1 water hexes, do the same modifiers follow the mech, such as +1 to movement plus a pilot skill roll. I'm trying to verify as my players and I had question, this is just clarification.

Yes. Every water hex you enter you must pay the MP cost and make a PSR.
