(Answered) Flamers vs Battle armour
« on: 21 October 2021, 03:03:52 »
I know there's an optional rule for flamers to do heat effects instead of damage to basically make the damn things useful. And I know flamers do 3D6 damage to infantry, but is there a heat option to use them against BA instead of the piddly 2 points of damage?

Per TW pg 113, heat effects can only be applied to mechs and aero fighters. Using a flamer on BA (assuming they don’t have flame-resistant armor) does two damage to one suit. It’s not a particularly effective anti-BA weapon.
