Total Warfare (7th corrected printing), page 91 details rules on dismounting from a grounded Small Craft or DropShip. It states that:
Quote
A carrying Small Craft or DropShip can dismount a number of units each turn equal to its operational door capacity (i.e. if a door is damaged either through critical damage or through mounting and dismounting a unit, no units can use that door for the remainder of the scenario). Doors noted as pure cargo bay doors, or fighter/small craft bay doors cannot be used; the number of Mech/ProtoMech/vehicle bay doors a Small Craft or DropShip has will be noted in either the unit’s technical readout or record sheet game stats.

The game record sheets for DropShips specifically indicate how many bay doors are associated with each bay. Can valid bay doors be used to unload any valid ground unit remaining in the DS, or are they only usable by units within the specific bay?

Example 1: A Union has Mech Bay One holding 4 units with 2 doors, and Mech Bay Two holding 8 units with 2 doors. Can all 4 mechs from Bay One be unloaded in a single turn, or must it be split as two mechs from each individual bay?

Example 2: A Triumph (3057) has one Mech Bay holding 4 units, one Light Vehicle bay holding 12 units, and one Heavy Vehicle Bay holding 24 units. Each bay has one door. Can it only unload one unit of each type per round, or can it unload a total of 3 units of any desired mixture of types?

Secondary question: the rules in this passage specifically mention doors associated with Mech Bays, Protomech Bays, and Vehicle Bays as usable, while disallowing cargo bay doors and fighter/SC bay doors. What about doors associated with other types of bays? The only other type of bay not mentioned positively or negatively are various types of infantry bay (Battle Armor or CI). Given that infantry mount and dismount from grounded SC and DS using different rules, as mentioned on page 89, it is plausible that these doors are disallowed for use (as with cargo bay doors), but I thought I would ask.

Even if the ability to move cargo internally exists for a given vessel, it would occur at speeds that are not combat relevant.  For game purposes, doors and units attached to bays are tied to their specific bays.
