Apparently, when you quote a post quoting someone else, you also post what was quoted in the post you replied to. IIRC, it was not so in the old boards, where you only could quote what had been specifically in the post you were replying to. Makes for some uselessly lengthy posts IMO... any way I can get my account to make counts this way?

They used to do it on the old boards, until people got carried away and started doing "quote pyramids."  I realize I'm going to get slapped for saying this, but don't get any ideas, guys.  At any rate, I suspect it'll probably get changed to keep eyesores from happening.

Dang it.

I preferred having indefinitely nested quotes, rather than having to insert nested quotes manually.
