Trying to change my avatar

Hey, I was trying to change my avatar picture to something, but I was told that it was "too large or not an avatar" and wouldn't let me make the change but also wouldn't let me revert to my old avatar.

Make sure it's no larger than 160x218 (the dimensions of what's currently on your avatar) and try again?  I'm not sure what the rules on this are off the top of my head, and the forum software doesn't display them to the user.

Just saved MoneyLovinOgre4Hire's image, inspecting it shows that it is 218 tall and 160 wide

I'll see if I can get it to do that.  I'm not used to websites that don't automatically resize an avatar to fit the size limit.

It's been displaying for me for a couple of days now... when did you change it?

Several hours after I first made this post.  I originally was trying to change it to something else but it wouldn't let me and once that happened my previous avatar got deleted and I couldn't get it back.

So I put this one up because I didn't like having a blank space and it was a good pun.

And sorry to hear your old avatar is lost.  Have you tried the Wayback Machine?
