Converting TW Pilot/Gunnery skills to QS skill

Unless I missed something in Strat. Ops (which is entirely possible), the rules are comprehensive for generating skill values from scratch for the Battleforce/QS system, but we are trying to convert our Battletech campaign over to Quick-strike for a few sessions, and I'm not sure how to directly convert the P/G skills to QS.  For now I'm just going to take the average between the Piloting/Gunnery skills, but is there something explicit out there?  If not what would you do?

TW piloting + TW gunnery / 2 = QS skill
