I'm looking to verify all of the ProtoMech variants in HeavyMetal Lite and have come to an interesting issue.

The Gorgon 3, in HML, which like all of the 3 variants says it came from FanPro's Record Sheets 3067, has twin SRM 4s.  Furthermore, the file works in HML.

The new 3060 Unabridged Record Sheets says it has a single SRM 4, which leaves a lot of room left over in HML.

Does anybody know what it is actually supposed to have?

IIRC that was a misprint in RS:3060U.  I don't play protos very often so didn't pay much attention to it, but I remember there being a fair bit of discussion at the time.

OK.

I also see an issue with the Minotaur 1 saying it only has 1 ERML when I KNOW it has 2.

That suggests to me that whatever software they are using to make the ProtoMechs cannot handle a design with two identical weapons in the torso slots.

I'm inclined to assume that the other has the twin SRM 4s.  I guess I was just wondering if anybody out there KNEW what it had?

My copies of RS3060U and HeavyMetal Lite both show the Minotaur with twin ERMLs.  For that matter, my copy of RS3060U also shows the Gorgon 3 with two SRM 4.

You might want to talk to BattleCorps about getting an updated copy of the file.

There was an updated copy put out on the 8th of June last year.

Seriously, thanks for the information guys.  I now feel that I can post the files with some confidence that they are good to play with.

I downloaded the new version of the file and they fixed all the little issues I was finding with the file.  The ammo loads now make sense, and the three or four designs with duel torso guns now show everything accurately.

And basing off of that file, I now have full and correct (not counting the ProtoMech Myomer Booster which HeavyMetal Lite can't do) datafiles for all of the 3060 ProtoMechs in HeavyMetal Lite.  That is nice.  Now to upload them to P.R.I. and all that jazz.
