Also...things are finally getting interesting...she's calling him on the inconsistencies...

I also think the Baron is taking up headspace...but sometimes I get a feeling of Gil too...so not sure exactly what is going on...

Of course this Girl Genius...so...

No I think it was Gil wrestling for a second with the copy of Daddy riding along in his head, Dupree is really more one of Gil's followers then one of the Baron's hence her and Gil knowing each other better then the Baron knows her.

yeah, but who IS her target? the baron? the other? the Heterodyne? i haven't seen enough of DuPree's thought process when she's not attacking the closest thing available to figure out what she sees as the greater threat here and how to make it die.

Precisely. I know it's a bit odd for something to be that straightforward with the Foglios, but they do occasionally throw one in there to keep us off-kilter.

Most of these are firmly 'Seriously? We don't care.' Maxim getting a new Hat was awesome because it expanded on a character we've met and rooted for. I don't even know who these people are, and will probably only check this thread for when they resume their regular tale.
