So, before last weekend, I've run thru one premade Hollow Earth Expedition (HEX) adventure and I really like what we went across, but it seemed pretty forced as the adventure came out of a module and our GM didn't deviate much.
Last weekend, our D&D GM started up a short term game and really did this game justice for us. This game is just that much better when a creative GM lets us make the diversions our characters would and still keep the formula intact ;)
