Mammoth BA
« on: 03 February 2011, 02:03:51 »
This was designed at the same as the Bobcat and Avalanche (2003), but with no fluff. This is a monster of a BA as it is an assault. Hope you like

Interesting, but I might see why it wasn't included with the Avalanche and Bobcat.  This looks like it's a bit more combat-oriented, especially with that srm-4 waiting to surprise someone.

Any reason you went with the Support PPC, rather than a pair of David Lights or Magshots?  Hell, a trio of LMGs would solve your Conv. Inf woes, improve average damage output, and cost you very little range.

Thoughts?

The gauss rifles (KD and Magshot) are a bit advanced for a planetary militia organization, I stuck with the original weapons that were available when the BA rules were created. Beside I ljust love the Support PPC.

Reasonable.  I think I'd like the LMG variant, but to each his own.
