Where have the Blackhearts gone, post-Jihad?
« on: 01 April 2012, 13:59:28 »
The last mention I can find of them is in JHS: Terra, regarding their liberation of Zion. Major Stryker announced his intention to join up with Alys Rousett-Marik, but they aren't included in any Scour or Scythe unit listings, nor do they appear in FM 3085, either as a merc unit or, from the names of known members, having turned house regular.

Obviously, I'm a big fan of the unit. :)

They were used as a garrison force for the rest of the Jihad, and post-Jihad they were in all likelihood split up and merged into several of the Triarii units.

With regards,

About what I expected (although weren't the Triarii mostly built from the ground up?). I was wondering if I'd missed something about them, especially since their JHS Terra mention implies some future vengeance at the hands of the WoB. Anyway, thank you for the response!
