Balanced fight?

A small and quick fight, involving a pair of SLDF ships and a rogue LC BC:

Attacker:
1 Tharkad-class BC

Defender:
1 Avatar-class CA
1 Lola III-class DD

Neither side has any DropShips or smaller craft.

Would you consider this a balanced fight, and if not, what would you do to balance it? I'd like to keep the ship choices about the same, so altering skills is probably the best way to balance it. I'd also like to give both side some Santa Anas, my thoughts being about six on each big ship.
My wife writes books

"...finally, giant space panties don't seem so strange." - Whistler
"Damn you, Weirdo... Damn you for being right!" - Paul
"...I was this many years old when I found out that licking a touchscreen in excitement is a bad idea." - JadeHellbringer
"We are the tribal elders. Weirdo is the mushroom specialist." - Worktroll

I would be apprehensive about using Santa Annas.  As none of the warships mentioned have AMS and without escorts to protect them from nuclear attacks, your game might devolve into seeing who gets lucky with a penetrating hit first.  I don't think a Lola III can even take a non-penetrating hit from a Santa Anna without being blown apart.
