Blood Spirit Vampire Bat

So the Clans are named for animals, aside from the Blood Spirits who were named for the esprint de corps of the Star League Defence Forece.

Yet I hear rumours that Clan Blood Spirit engineered a vampire bat they named Blood Spirit.


So who can point me to a source book or actual reference?

It was engineered by Burrock Scientists from a flying reptilian pest native to Albion. The Burrocks named it a Blood Spirit to insult their enemy.

Funnily enough Clan Blood Spirit gained some territory on Albion last we heard, so they should have come face to face with their 'totem' animal. I kinda hope they become fond of it and adopt it to spite the Burrocks.

The Burrock scientist probably wanted a harmless pest as an insult, what they probably got was something more dangerous. That will learn them if they did.

I do remember a Spirit player telling me that unlike the Sharks who adopted their rival's insult, the Blood Spirits' preferred pseudo-totem is the blood kite. Anyone have a source for that?
