Really big CAV: Emperor, with electric storm scheme
« on: 07 July 2012, 19:49:54 »
Big, big chunk o' lead here; must weigh near a pound.  Out of production, or at least no longer used in the CAV game, but still a really nifty design.  Got the idea for the scheme from a really old PS2 game called "Thunder Tanks"; one of the tanks shoots electrical bolts and has this scheme on it.  Thought it would look cool.

When in doubt, take it out.

Great paint job.  I still say that is one of the finest mecha made by anybody ever.

You can still buy all the CAV minis through Reaper's website, the ones not used in CAV:SO are in the Robot Depot.

The Emperor makes a pretty good candidate for a superheavy mech.
Good news is the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show an immediate latency of 44.6 years. So if you're thirty or over you're laughing. Worst case scenario you miss out on a few rounds of canasta, plus you've forwarded the cause of science by three centuries. I punch those numbers into my calculator, it makes a happy face.

Awesome paint job on an Awesome mini !!!

As a bonus it's big enough to be used as a small mech for 15mm scale gaming.

I like this design more than the WoB Omega.

Awesome scheme!

I love my gigantic CAVs.  IN case someone breaks in while I'm gaming I can chuck one at them and cripple the intruder.  And the CAV MIGHT lose an arm I can just glue back on.

Hey ogre ??

Is that on a standard CAV/Reaper hex base ??

If it is, just to let people know, that hex will completely fill a mapsheet hex.
They're roughly 32mm across, flat to flat.
