Only one item for today, sorry. I ended up going on an unexpected trip, having a good time and losing my hat. Yes, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

It's the Sea Fox Amphibious Armour, a fantastically specialised suit that you ignore at your peril.

More icons today from the ongoing effort to clean up and clean out. Or something.

First up is the Antlion which, as a Mortar Quad, defines both "funky" and "over-specialised". It also defines the sort of Icon I hate making.

And second is the Fusilier Battle Armour, which is not anywhere as stupidly over-specialised and, incidentally, a lot easier to draw.

I've got a pair of requests: the Lu Wei Bing and the Tufana Hovercraft.

I've got a pair of requests: the Lu Wei Bing and the Tufana Hovercraft.

Both have been on my backlog list for ages. Time to fix that.

The Lu Wei Bing gets huge props from me because it's name is a reference to a historical event that a) hasn't happened in the real world and b) is not actually vital to the game's history, but still is significant otherwise. So why haven't I done it yet? I got lazy and used a Victor as a placeholder.

And number two is the Tufana, which I haven't done because... well, because I forgot. Oops.

Time for another Theme Set! Today's theme? Dubious Combine Tanks. Enjoy!

First up is the Narakumi Heavy Tank, which is made of taking corners badly. You know it'll happen, you know it'll end in tears, and yet you still do it. Admit it.

Second is the Mamono IFV, which is full of the Combine's most amazing technology. Oh, and lots of Battle Armour too

And finally is the Shillelagh Missile tank which took a crappy old design and made it, uh... a bit less crappy, really.

I see what you mean about the Narakumi being dodgy, you can swap out that 2nd PPC for a 2nd GR and 2 additional tons of ammo and only lose a half ton of armor in the process

The Lament's on my list of units that are waiting for the Tech to be enabled in MM. Trust me, as soon as the Radical HS is a go, the Lament will be the first thing i do.

Only reason why I'm asking for it is MM 37 Development has the Mech in game its functional for combat.  Heck i don't think it really needs the RHS in present form.

If you want to replicate much of the functionality, yank the RHS and replace with coolant pods, you can squeeze in four if you pull a lower arm actuator.

Well, the Lament is already in there, i'm playing it.  I was just hoping to see it appear. I thought Deadborder didn't want put in there because it wasn't.  Sorry for the confusion.  :-[

Oh, no confusion. I was just letting you know how to make it work with much the original intent until RHS is fully implemented in MM.

And, you know, hoping to encourage Deadborder to make a Lament icon.  ::)

New MegaMek Dev! New tech! So it's time for two who have been waiting a while for me to do their icons.

First up is the Cataplut II which now has one variant that works in MM. Hey, it's a start.

And second is the Hatamoto-Suna (and also Hatamoto-Godai) which has the power of being unsensitive to boof.

It's Deadborder's Megamek Christmas Countdown, part 1! First up, it's completing a set with some new variants!

First up is the Warhammer IIC 10, a 'Mech for those of you who love ER Large Lasers more then you love common sense!

And second is the Warhammer IIC 12, which proves that a) mixed-tech goes both ways and b) it's not necessarily a good thing.

(Note that there's no Warhammer IIC 11 icon; for that, just use my existing Warhammer IIC 4 one)

Second is a set that actually currently are in MegaMek after a fashion. When I did the Icons for the Colossals, they ended up being just too big and overflowing their hexes. As a result, they were re-sized to the ones in the current Dev. release.

However, in the spirit of giving, I thought I'd present the original, even more huge, Colossal icons.

Poseidon

Ares Zeus

Ares Hera

Ares Hades

Ares Hephaestus

Ares Aphrodite

Enjoy!

Thanks for the Warhammer IIC 10. This is exactly how I have imagined Clan Smoke Jaguar BattleMech - simple, brutal and effective.   O0

Can't wait to test it in battle.

And now for your third Christmas present! It's one of the most requested Icons of the year, as well as a bonus to go with it.

The Tomahawk II (And also, retro-actively, the Tomahawk), huge, terrifying and shockingly frequent victim of the Hellstar Testing Principle.

Speaking of, as a bonus, have my personal Hellstar icon. Because, in the end, I'm an Icon snob and I like it a lot more then the one that's currently in MM.

I was just thinking about how aenemic the hellstar's icon is. And I've been waiting for the Tommy! Thanks DB!

The Tiburon, which is a rather nifty looking 'Mech and very... shark-y, I guess.

You know, for the sheer redicouslousness of the images it conjures up, you win.

So here's the Shen Long Battle Armour, my first Quad BA icon. Happy Hanukkah!

It's the post-Christmas slump. I'm filled with ham and turkey, so you all get Battle Armour. Wait, how does that work?

First up is the Buraq, because giant robot horses are awesome. It's perfect for all your Brony needs.

Number two is also a quad BA, in this case the ferocious Fenrir II. Doggie.

And number three is Mr Hugs himself, the Ogre. Have fun!

After the Battle Armour comes the tanks. Or something. I dunno. Have some icons.

First up is the Luduan Scout Hovertank which was quite a difficult icon to draw.

...followed by the Scapha Hovertank which wasn't, as you can see.

And finally the Shandra, because I had a MWDA unit I still hadn't iconified.
