(Answered) Artillery or Gunnery for Artillery Cannons?
« on: 20 January 2013, 06:45:26 »
Hello,

AToW, page 144, Artillery skill says it is used for "all kinds of artillery type weapons."

If I understand TacOps' latest (3.03) errata correctly, it appears to define Artillery Cannons as direct fire ballistic weapons that can be fired indirectly as per LRMs.

Does this mean that an artillery cannon mounted on a 'Mech would be governed by the Gunnery/'Mech skill, or would it still use the Artillery skill that a full sized tube or missile artillery would require?

Gunnery/'Mech, just like LRMs.

The solution is just ignore Paul.
