Hi,

Sorry if this isn't the right place for this.  I got a print copy TRO:3145 at Gen Con and have a question about the new Tech Table at the end of the book.

Do the dates on that table fully replace the dates in TRO:Prototypes table?

For example in Prototypes - The Bloodhound AP is Experimental when introduced in 3058, and in 3082 it becomes advanced.

But in 3145 it shows the previous class as Advanced (which I assume was the tech level at introduced) and in 3082 it become TL.

I'm just wondering if the newer table trumps the older.  Or is it something like the tech went from advanced to TL in one year.

Hi,

The dates in a table do not specify when an item changes rules level. They simply indicate when an item is prototyped (if it is still in the prototyped phase, you get a year ending in "P"), or goes into mass production (no "P").  Advanced and Tournament Legal items are in production, so the date stays unchanged even when they move from "advanced" to "TL".

The change in level is considered effective with the period covered by the whole table.
