Must have been the newer comics then.

That was in 2010.  But there were human antagonists all the way back in the G1 cartoon and Marvel Comics.

Yes, like Josie weller (Circuit breaker) who even after attacking many autobots still didn't get shot by that many.  Or the members of the R.A.T.T. group, who also didn't get blasted by the autobots.

Just watched Fletch Lives for the first time.  For old late 80s movie, it was pretty funny given how take dated it was.  Amazing assortment of character actors, including R. Lee Ermey with hair no less!  ;D

Watched The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones the other day on SyFy.

It wasn't bad, and Lilly Collins is very easy on the eyes in it.  O:-) >:D

SO last night, i watched 2 films.  Big game with Samuel L as the POTUS being hunted in Finland.  And then Pound of flesh with Van damme.  I actually liked both, as the latter was so far the only film with VD as a hero type character where he died at the end.
The big game film, i loved cause its really the first time Sammy was somewhat of a wimp...

I just watched Death at a Funeral, really funny movie that doesn't let down from start to the end. I'm kind of used to comedies having a slump in the middle, but not here. Simply brilliant.

Just now finished watching...

Jodorowsky's Dune.

Wow!?  Incredible vision.  I just can't quite decide how I feel about the idea of it being the original Dune.  But I'm pretty sure it would have been better than what we got from Lynch.   :-\

Just finished watching the pilot movie for Babylon 5 earlier. Still amazes me at what they could do with the cgi effects of the time. Makes me wonder what it would look like if it were made with today's technology.

ok was good documentary but keep in mind that during lynches  time at the helm studio screwed with his vision so much that the movie was nothing like it was supposed to be so he finished it and washed his hands of it. however there is a fan edit of dune that was done a while back and it is as close as lynch could had gotten it

Re-watched Iron man 3.  One thing id love it if they ever explained it..  When tony had 'operation clean sweep' activated, did it completely blow up each suit?

Also how is it in Avengers 2, he has more suits already AND a new chest piece..  Didn't he toss the old one at the end of 3?

I thought the suits in IM3 were him basically trying to do self-therapy through building them.  He would design and build a suit for a theme, and that would help him for a while.  Then he would suffer the memories of the Chitauri attack and have to build another one.  By detonating them at the end he was telling Pepper he was over that part of his life.

Which i also see the correlation.
BUT when did he get the facilities to build the others we saw in Avengers 2?

Also, does anyone know if they ever explain it somewhere, as to HOW they contacted Thor for it?  Or was he still on earth after the events of Thor 2?

Looked like he had the facilities built directly into Stark Tower.

I'm not aware of it being explicitly stated, but it really looked like Thor decided to stay on Earth after the end of Thor 2.
