Uncensored versions of both Airplane! and Airplane II.
We hear that there are tumults and riots in Rome, and that voices are raised concerning the army and the quality of our soldiers. Make haste to reassure us that you love and support us as we love and support you, for if we find that we have left our bones to bleach in these sands in vain, then beware the fury of the legions.

"Inside Man" - well cast, well written, doesn't insult your intelligence. Worth a watch.

Expendables 3. I hope Antonio Banderas had as much fun working on the film as I did watching him in it!

It's more interesting than optimal, and therefore better. O0 - Weirdo

"The Martian" absolutely did not disappoint; Damon really showed his chops and Sean Bean didn't die! Although as noted on tvtropes, he did commit career suicide.

Saw 2 last night.
First up Hyena road about Canadian military in Afgan.  Very good war film, but had a few strangenesses to it..  And was shocked that the guy i thought was related to Billy zane, is actually Donald Sutherland's son??

Then came 5th Wave.  Decent enough disaster/alien invasion flick with ONE thing missing.  We never actually saw the aliens other than damn blasted ship...

One of the things I really enjoy about "Fifth Element" is that even though it's sci-fi, it isn't all in your face about it. It's a story first and foremost, and sci-fi as the setting and backdrop. Hopefully that makes sense.

and that is what makes a good story...take alook at old 60s tv series backgrounds were there to support the story not be the story...invaders and original doctor who are good examples...you forgot about the backgrounds and sets best example for a movie would be forbidden planet all story and background seconded to be background as it is supposed to

The Fifth Element wasn't a sci-fi movie. It was a fantasy with sci-fi trappings. Not unlike Star Wars.

It's not out in the States yet.

Went to the new Jungle Book yesterday. It was good,  though I felt that the musical numbers felt out of place given its darker and more serious tone.

Well, i caught 2 over the weekend.  BOTH i found sucky.  First was the Revenant with De-caprio..  After hearing all the hype on it (as well as the awards it got), i can't see how it was buzzed up so much..  I thought it rather poorly done myself..  The acting was decent and the action scenes very well done, but other than that.  It barely hit 2 out of 5 stars for me.

Next up was a comedy (well more like a "How crast and cussing can we make a film and still get a rating of R or lower") Dirty Grandpa with Deniro..  Man it was so frikken laden with cuss words and sexual inuendo, i had to turn it off after 30 minutes or so..
What makes me irked is it seems a LOT of comedies to me go that route, feeling the more crast and language ridden they are, the more funny they are...??  Sorry, but that's not what i call comedy.

I'm surprised you started watching it in the first place. It's not like the movie was at all subtle about what kind of film it was.

The previews didn't make it seem like it was a Cuss/crast fest though..  They actually made it seem like it might be more slapstick than crude, rude and overbearing..

Maybe..  The 2 previews i saw, had maybe 5 cuss words between them and that's it..  Not much in the way of 'sex talk' crastness.

I just did. As an action movie it beats Civil War hands down. Civil War was too thinky for its own good. Minor non-plot related spoilers ahead:
some characters didn't get as much face or action time as I thought they should and the new X-Men are clearly being prepped for a sequel. That said, Quicksilver totally sold me, I was completely mindblown in the cinema.
Sansa Stark as Jean Grey initially struck me as blasphemy, but I can live with it. I wonder what this means for the timeline though, as at the end of this movie we're still in the DOFP 80s.

I don't recall the previews I saw having a lot of profanity either, but I never got the impression that it wasn't going to be steeped in vulgarity.

Just saw X-Men: Apocalypse.  Good movie, but I thought that Captain America: Civil War was better just because the cast had more chemistry together.  I think that we might see X-23 show up in the next film.
