I enjoyed Terminator Genisys when I rented it.

Tonight I will watch Sharknado 4 on SyFy.

From all the negative reviews i heard on Genisys, i was surprised at how much i liked it!

Just starting Logan's Run.  Somebody was nice enough to give warning of its appearance on TCM.  The opening is making me want my hyperloop.

Logan's Run was one of the shows I watched daily as a child.  I LOVED it to pieces.

I just watched the last two episodes of Jessica Jones.  Watched the first one and most of the second one.  Couldn't stand the mopey story and just went to the last two so I could see how it ended.  It ended good.  I'm glad I watched the last TWO eps instead of the last ep because of story and intro to last ep.

Next on to Daredevil Season 2.

For movies I recently saw Star Trek Beyond and Star Trek Reboot.  One of my friends who has NEVER seen Star Trek EVER loved Beyond.  The Reboot bored her.  I saw Beyond on the new Three screen special thing where there are two screens on either side of the main screen that show the picture all around you.  That was AWESOME.

And I recently saw the new Ghostbusters.  And now I can't find any mad scientist toys in the stores.  ;)  I liked the movie.  It was fun.  I wish the cameos had been them playing THEIR characters twenty years later.  Rather than just random characters.  I dislike the full rebootness of the new movie.  :(  But it was fun.

Next up...time to find out if Green Lantern will maintain its run as best DC Live Action Movie of the last decade when I see Suicide Squad on Friday.

Just finished Frozen.  It's only been on the DVR for a year and half.  It was a nice little movie, but I prefer the older animation style from Mermaid and Lion King times.  And being a hopeless nerd, I started working on ideas for adding their realm to my next campaign world before the movie was half over.

I just watched Suicide Squad.

Good movie.

Subpar story, but awesome characters.  Deadshot and Harley Quinn did stellar jobs of making the movie fun to watch.  And Amanda Waller and Joker did awesome jobs pushing the story forward with their scheming.

Best Joker since Nicholson IMHO.  And both he and Harley Quinn took MAJOR pointers from their animated versions.  I could almost hear Mark Hamill and Tara Strong in the way those actors played the characters.  Somebody HAD to spend a lot of time watching the animated show when they were figuring out how to write or deliver the stuff in this movie.

It was a fun movie to watch.  Can we count this as the new tent poll film for the new universe?  Please?  This is the first DC movie that has been FUN to watch since Green Lantern.  Think about that statement for a moment...

I watched We're the Millers (2013) last night on TNT. I liked it, it wasn't laugh out loud a lot funny, but it was entertaining enough I don't feel like I wasted my time.

Surprisingly i can't even remember seeing time bandits..

I own it and at times I think it has aged terribly.  Same with Fawlty Towers and to a lesser extent, Python.  Good for their times, surely.  I like Terry Gilliam's work, but for some reason the cinematography of Time Bandits makes me queezy.

This weekend i'm going to fire up Dark Days, which has been sitting in my collection for some time.

Suicide Squad...  Meh! Joker's role was a glorified cameo, boring bad guys, even boringer good guys. Harley Quinn has a higher kill count than the SEALs and all she uses is a mallet and baseball bat!? 4/10   ???
