Another vote for more plastic!

I joined this forum after I found out about the new plastic minis in the intro boxed set, and would love to see more plastic mechs come out.  I've become less and less enamored with metal minis the more they get scratched, damaged and bent up with time...  Can't wait to see if this becomes a reality!

On a related note:

Does anyone know of any sites, links or postings that describe in some detail the different processes by which you make metal vs. plastic minis?  What are the costs incurred, and at what point does plastic become the better deal?  From what I understand (and my understanding is quite rough!), the start up costs for plastic are higher than those for metal, but that if sales are sufficient, the ongoing costs for plastic are cheaper than for metal...
