Self: Meltrans are already culture shocked, except their response is to squeal like high school girls at a boy band concert and discharge energy weapons in random directions.Weirdo: Sounds like the proper reaction to a Macross Cannon to me.
And of course if even a single Constitution had shown up onscreen for even a single second, you would have been able to hear the mass squeeing from orbit.
Those are some nice cars. I have a cuda like the first pic (but a fast back, and not restored).
I've got a 68 fastback in my shop
My '07 RAM 1500 is riding on 20"s.Tires are gonna cost a metric buttload of $$$.so far I've seen an average of $168 EACH.then +tax +mount, balance, etc...I'm thinking it'll come to about $900 - $950.(That's ALOT of fraking minis worth!)any idea what is involved in swapping out for a wheel that can take a cheaper tire?
My truck no longer uses a speedometer gear - the just count the pulses for the ABS to figure out speed
based on a certain size of tire. if you change the diameter of the tire, you change the circumference of the tire. which changes the distance the vehicle moves in 1 revolution, or speed.
Don't ask me - my tires are 285/75/16 BF Goodrich All Terrain and the total cost is $1052
I'm boggling at that, over $1000 for tires. I can get the same size for $120 a tire from a local place that retreads used tires and despite abusing them through woods and wetlands I get over 30,000 miles out of them no trouble.
I got my hands on a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi. The Fusion was nice, but was so BORING.
The Pontiac has buttons for people that have sausages for fingers
Nice!I've started a new job so the car work has slowed to the weekend. I'm about to get the engine into the 63 Sport Fury
New job? ***faint***
Very light tinny(not tiny) intermittent squeal emanating from the front of my Focus' engine. The serpentine looks good, there is no obvious fluid leaks, so i'm down to either a bearing in a pump/alternator or a pulley is making the noise. Any good ways to diagnose this? I do have access to a lift next weekend.
Congratulations, Mopar.
