Matthew Vang, CEO of Taiyo Energy will be holding a Memorial tomorrow at Namida no niwa; for the 53 killed in the brutal attack at the Hilo Power Station by still unknown assailants. Mr. Vang is now demanding the inclusion of the Ministry Criminal Investigation Unit into the investigation. Due to the greatly compromised crime scenes that have hampered local authorities. He hopes the greater reach and resources of the Unit will move the investigation forward so that the perpetrators may be brought to swift justice. Mr. Vang is also seeking to have the station reclassified as an A class resource so that a more heavily armed permanent security force may be put in place.

SECURITY FORCE USES LETHAL FORCE TO STOP CIVILIAN CONVOY
Connor Noyakin, the Governors Press Secretary apologized on behalf of the Security Force for the loss of life and property due to several communication errors. Compensation to the grieving families will be forthcoming from the units funds. Compensation will also be given to Summit Security for their loss of property and personnel.

COMGUARD ASSISTS IN HILO RECOVERY
The local comguard station sends their combat engineering unit to Hilo. They will support search and rescue operations. And also aid in the stabilization and rebuilding of the districts destroyed in the pirate raid. When asked about Comstar's offer of aid Precentor Wilkes responded "We live here too".

The new management team at Buki Industries has announced a favorable conclusion to talks held with employee representatives. Ending an almost year long cycle of protests and strikes that culminated in the recent riots. The new contracts will address employee concerns about fair work practices and guarantee needed safety upgrades are finished by the end of the business year. Employees will also be compensated for lost wages. Criminal charges regarding these matters will be forthcoming in a joint press release with the Attorney General.

Wonderland Amusement Park to host MRE Cooking Contest
Entry deadline for the popular Fleet Weeks activity is this Sunday at midnight. The contest is open to all. The entry fee includes two MRE's, entrants may bring one 'care package' item like hot sauce or mustard and must make a three course gourmet meal of an appetizer, main dish and dessert. Due to greatly increased numbers of DCA personnel arriving for Fleet Weeks celebrations, additional police and security presence has been authorized by the Ministry after an incident at Atomic Liquors hospitalized seven. It is still unknown what started the brawl but two arrests were made and all DCA personnel present were remanded to the Shore Patrol.
