A Swift Transportation convoy carrying luxury goods to the SkyCity Sporting Club was ambushed by pirates. The convoy was accompanied by a Papakura Armourgard vehicle and escorted by Drago Security Services. The trucks were stopped at an advantageous point for the pirates by means of both electronic and explosive mines. Following a gun battle the pirates made off with two trailers worth of goods, 5.5 million c-bills worth of diamonds and 11 million k-bills. the survivors are in critical condition in hospital, physicians are hopeful of recovery. Footage recovered from the remains of the vehicles identify the pirates as Cesar's Bandits.

I suppose that pulling up to these events in a battlemech might be considered bad taste.  I'm going to feel a little naked without that kind of firepower at a prominent social event.

I think that might be a little overboard and that your odds of being swarmed by mech otaku is high

Freight Train Derailed on Saberedge

Seven freight cars and five kilometers of track were destroyed when unidentified mechs attacked the train. The freight line reports that the cars were carrying 300 tons of military grade munitions and supplies. Cesar's Bandits are suspected of the raid.

my unit's commander searches for more stories on this and reaches out to our contact to see if there is any word as to what exactly was taken and i look at the maps we have to see exactly where this was and if it is any where near the route the convoy will be taking

also if any further information comes in on the "unknown" mechs i'd be very interested as they will most likely be something we will need to battle soon

this is something we need to be on the look out for it would be a good way to stop our convoy do we have anything that can detect mines?

i also check what the protocol for my bringing security detail for myself and my guest  to the events, if it is permitted, would it be just one personnel body for myself and my guest? or one for each of us?

if it is allowed then i would follow what ever protocol is needed to submit the information for my party for these events

do keep in mind the site will have security so they do not want a large personal security force for people going. the only people that will be having a larger security force are the Precentor ComStar (he will have a max of 6) the Sho-sho (he will have a max of 14) and the Governor (her security is classified)

Could I bring my Hussar pilot, Dejah Rey, as a bodyguard? Given her background, her skills there might be very useful (See below).

not sure what is being asked here if it is the forces that went to the city of hilo they were my manteuffel attack tank and alpha karnov with thier respective battle armor
i did not get names down for them yet but will work on that

i formally request a copy of the battle report for the above action to refresh my memory on who was there

i also am not about to let my men meet with anyone without my own legal counsel do i by any chance have legal representatives with me? (i may have such personnel to help go over contracts etc?)

i also confer with the retainer i hired

my men meeting with these unknown lawyers makes me a little uncomfortable to tell the truth i need some reassurances that my people wont be charged with anything i had thought the reports filed were enough and that we had some protection as per the contract we have

guess i am not fully understanding what this is all about but without lawyers that are fully going to protect my men i dont know if they will report for this "questioning"
