To: Dr. Kira Musashi, Captain Quentin Bonanno and all other unit commanders attending the summit

Per Dr. Musashi's request, I will allow technical and logistics personnel to attend as well.  If the need for a supreme leader should arise, then they will be needed for their expertise as well as the current status of all military assets under the separate commands.

This is Col. Greyjoy of the Ironborn to all unit commanders,

Due to today's failure in the field and the criticism of our superiors with our efforts.  I propose a summit of the COs and XOs of the Ironborn, Hands of the Goddess, the Franks Family, and the Free Worlders to discuss ways to better mesh our forces together.  This may or may not include the election of a supreme leader for all our units.  It is for this reason that I am not including the Com Guards (as they have their own hierarchy to answer to) or Dragon's Clutch (they answer only to the governor and Dr. Musashi) as part of this summit, though they are free to send delegations if they so choose.  I propose this meeting take place in Hilo City since I am the one who has suggested this.  The Ironborn will provide security for the summit.  If this is agreeable, then please respond as soon as you can.  Cesar and our other enemies will not wait for us to get our act together, and neither will our superiors.  If they think we cannot do our jobs effectively, then I have no doubt they will replace us with people who can.  I await your response.

Colonel Euron Greyjoy

To Colonel Euron Greyjoy
From Hauptmann Kiah Lorrian Rosen Franks

I will of course attend with my men. I view the exercise a little differently however, we have only been working together for a short while and i was actually rather pleased with how well we are starting to work together.

i do agree that we have to figure out a way to mesh better so that our employer gets what she employed us for.

i feel strongly that some of the trouble is that we have yet to come to trust each other. it will be interesting to see if the strong personalities of each commander can come together into the temporary unit we need to be for the length of our contract.

please forward the details as they develop.

Hauptmann Kiah Lorrian Rosen Franks out

Leave it to the cappellans to forget the unit name associated with the Free Worlds League.  The Eagles Tears offer use of our new restaurant after hours for the location of the summit.  Light refreshments will be provided.

Well in that case, we'll leave the snacks behind and just bring the medicinal herbs.  Should we bring music?

shadhawk:  If representatives of the Governor and/or the militia wish to attend, they are free to do so. Of course, they would be exempt from the results of any voting by the assembled mercenary units.  I don't want to step on anyone's toes here.

crash99c:  sorry about that, I forgot.  BTW, where is your restaurant located?

jimdigris:  only if you want to.

We can probably have the summit after the next game session.  If you guys want it to happen sooner, we'd have to set up some kind of chat line on FB or something to do that in RT.

I don't trust Facebook and will not start an account with them. After the next game could work.
In I-CON news, I have two tables on Sunday from 11:00 to 3:00.  Saturday may vary. Right now, they can only give me 6pm to 10pm, however there is a fairly good chance I could end up with the same hours as Sunday.

OK so the next 2 game dates are 3/26 and 4/30.

I will have the missions for both up by Friday.

if everyone is going to I-Con on Sunday 3/18 we could get together and start the summit at the con.

I have some things going during the day 3/18. Was going to see about getting passes after. Will be on hand for 3/19 no problem. I know Sunday is better for some so if that works better then so be it.

I'll be there both days; Sunday 11-3.
Saturday depends on whether they can book representatives of a certain war gaming company.  If they can, then we are 6-10pm.  If not, we will be earlier.

OK so here is the SitRep

The next few missions will be wargames to test the new unified command and the units of said command.

This mission will be a test for the new command command setup and the different units in the command.

the Mercenary players will get to pick 1 Mech, 1 Armored and 1 Infantry for each player at the mission. That works out to a max of 6 of each combat unit, for each missing player the Mercenary loose 1 of each unit type. Mercenary players talk with each other to setup your forces and who is bring what to the fight.

Keep in mind that the 2nd mission you will not be able to use the units from the first.

The OpFor will also have flex room so that if other want to play they can.

the battle sites will be posted closer to the date of each mission to keep the you are the ones putting out the fires.

I haven't decided if I'm going to I-Con yet.  I might show up Sunday (I can't do Saturdays) at least.  Otherwise I'll definitely be there for the 3/26 game.

How long will it take me to get a crew for the Blizzard I purchased?  I'll be sticking some of my conventional infantry into the new battlearmor and recruit replacements.

2. what will be the objective? (escort or defend etc.)

3. will there be civilians that need protecting?

4. where will the mission take place? (location on the map)

5. will we need to protect a certain thing? or just drive out attackers?

6. will there be a time frame to the mission? (max number of rounds)
