Strange.  I didn't get an email notification that this thread had new messages.  I'm good with either.  One of these days, I would like to see an all-Clan armor battle.

Crash99c  has expressed a desire for a game instead of painting.  Could we do both simultaneously?

Hey Guys -

I hate to do this to you, especially on such short notice, but I have to cancel for tomorrow.  Mother scheduled stuff with people about dad's estate for tomorrow when we were supposed to get together (and of course didn't tell me until TONIGHT) and I have to be there.

hope we can reschedule, but if not, hope u guys have fun painting.

I've got the ships, and I've printed sheets for the warships and dropships.  Does anyone want to do the fighters?  We'll have 100 on each side.  Everything is clantech.

Does anyone take a pics of your battles?
I'd be interested to see how one of the Aerotech scenarios looks.  :-\

We haven't played aerospace since 2011.  Shadhawk may have taken pictures, so ask him.

As for the next game, I suggest that attackers are raiding a depot.  The game starts in a dense city environment.  The attackers are at the depot and in the process of loading.  Picket troops are located throughout the city and are trying to stop the defenders from reaching the loading units.  Attackers win by extracting units off the opposite end of the board.

you will have a tirnary as the defender. 2 stars of armor with infantry and Battlearmor and a star of mechs. the corvis, urbanmech IIc, Hunchback IIc, one light omni and one medium omni your choice. the medium omni will be the leader of the unit. skill level will be pilot 4 gunnery 3 for all but the unit leader who will be pilot 3 gunnery 2. your infantry and battlearmor will be skill 3. no hueys in the armor unit I know you have a few painted up. you can have battlearmor on the omni mechs and any omni tanks you have in your force. standard infantry must have apcs. due keep in mind the hephaestus can pull double duty as it has infantry space and is an omni tank.

the op-for will be a company of armor and mechs. one unit will be a recovery vehicle and one will be a apc for the techs.

this will be a terrain fight at 1 to 1.
the defender will enter one star at a time. this will be a D6 roll. they will enter from the far side (attacker exit side).
this will be a urban fight and no dropping buildings. no one wants non combat types killed.
the board will be 4' x 4' see pic. this will be the street layout. buildings will happen  >:D
I will talk with Grim over the weekend for the date.

OH a couple of things before I forget.

1) the attacker start edge is the one to see at the bottom of the pic.

2) defender units enter as stars. the 3 units will roll to see who enters first. then the 2 units will roll to see who enters on turn 2. The last unit enters on turn 3.

3) defenders want to stop the APC and recovery from getting off the far edge. any other units stopped will add to victory if the APC and/or recovery units are stopped.
