Severe storm warnings i can actually understand them breaking into a show (or co-opting 1/4th of the screen) to keep people informed..  BUT politics??

Severe storm warnings here.  Covered about 1/8th of the screen, including a nice ticker that covered the subtitles when Mr. Medusa spoke spanish.  Because I really needed so see the radar map in motion during the whole show.  WTF is wrong with TV stations these days?
I missed half the show because they played the warnings instead of the show.  Fortunately, ABC allows next day viewing to Dish subscribers.

I've noticed a tendency to superimpose ads over the screen in US TV shows now.  Crazy Ex-Girlfriend does it a lot and it's so annoying.

Except when it is hilarious.

During an episode of Once Upon a Time, there was an ad for the Wonderland spin-off.  The White Rabbit is pointing at something (the title of the show maybe?).  But what he is specifically pointing at is actress Ginnifer Godwin's (Mary-Margaret/Snow White) crotch.  And I believe there was a slogan, something like "its right here" or the like.  This caused such an outpouring of wtf on social media, an ABC exec (or show exec - again its been a while) had to issue an apology the following day.

I didn't watch the episode until after I'd read the article, and I still laughed uncontrollably at the poor ad placement.

Seriously though, the reason for it - and the network logo, show name, etc. - on the screen is to make the show less desirable.  Also why the credits are rendered unreadable.  All to encourage you to buy a copy to see it unadulterated.

The worst is the new trend of showing tweets from their live-tweeting. I can't watch Deadliest Catch unless I record the late-night repeat, it's so bad. Discovery covers every corner of the screen with large-sized logos, tweets, and text, it's like media vomit.

So, how many episodes is it going to be before Daisy decides to dump Sparky or he turns traitor or something else happens to their probably-not-making-it-to-the-end-of-the-season romance?

Since the writers have a sadistic need to keep everyone miserable? Certainly soon.

Agreed. He's admitted that he is having control issues. I think he's going to kill someone soon. That'll put a damper on their relationship.

My bet is that Hive will get hold of him, either to control and/or kill him.

Maybe they are setting them too up to be AoS's version of Captain America vs Ironman in Civil war...  Since Lincoln seems to be for 'curing inhumans' while daisy seems to be against it...

Then in Season 4, Daisy suddenly starts dating a woman and walking around barefoot whenever she gets the chance and her journey to "Standard Joss Whedon Female Protagonist" is complete.

I don't ever recall seeing Zoe Washburn barefoot.

I'd be rather intrigued by Daisy's transformation into a hitleresque type individual. We hope she'll get it....and maybe she will....but Daisy sounded almost like the ideal fodder for the Hive there for a second.

She wasn't anywhere close to the lead of Firefly.  Daisy is up to the point where she's threatening to eclipse Coulson's place as lead protagonist.

She's definitely eclipsed May..
But then again since S1 wasn't it always somewhat about her.  First with her ties to that hacker org, then for her hacking skills to find Peterson, then about finding who her parents were, then about the link between her and ward..  Then into S2 with the whole "she is inhuman'?

Today's episode is why I think that Agents of Shield (all of it) is a backdoor pilot for Mockingbird and Hunter's own TV series.

After watching most of Season two of Daredevil, I'm still left wondering how Hydra and The Hand have managed to avoid each other given their rather mutually exclusive goals.

There was a circular - Asian? - insignia on a crate next to the body.  Isn't that the insignia of the drug dealer on Daredevil - aka Iron Fist's archenemy?  (I don't have Netflix, and heard about it from a news story months ago, so researching it might prove problematic for me.)

And yes, tonight's episode was a backdoor pilot for Marvel's Most Wanted.  Which might well be, Audience's Least Wanted.  What exactly would that show bring to the table that AoS doesn't have?  Two identical shows is a bad idea.

Look at the Arrowverse.  Darker toned Arrow.  More optimistic Flash.  Ensemble Sci-Fi Romp Legends of Tomorrow.  Even if you factor in Supergirl - that show is different enough from the Flash to be its own thing.  MMW has yet to show me a reason why I should watch it - aside from "its Marvel" or "its a SHIELD spin-off".

My hope is...more light hearted...

Hunter's vacation and mushrooms...Mockingbird's preoccupation with burgers and fries.

That kind of snark with some lighthearted mocking could go a long ways towards making the show a lot funner than AoS.

Make no mistake.  I like AoS.  It's good drama.  But it's gotten real dark.

I would love to see a Hunter and Bobbi snarkfest as they romp across the screen taking down bad guys.  That alone would be worth the admission fee to me.  :)

I don't.  BUT it was a very well done send off for them, and explains WHY they have their own show coming up.

After watching most of Season two of Daredevil, I'm still left wondering how Hydra and The Hand have managed to avoid each other given their rather mutually exclusive goals.

Who knows.  Maybe they work against each other, cause THEY want to be the ones in control?  Either that, or they just don't want to work together cause they feel the other one is wrong..

That ending scene at the bar... holy crap. I didn't realize how dusty the air in my living room is, time for spring cleaning apparently.

I had to choke back some tears too..  VERY well acted on al parts.

I think Ogre is trying to ask not why they haven't worked together(plenty of reasons as you state) but more of why they haven't come into conflict as they do seem to be such opposing philosophies.

I just chalk it up to The Hand being able to outmatch HYDRA for being able to stay in the shadows.

Yeah, not a fan of the character. Seemed a little too cookie-cutter predictable.

Also, the preview of next week... that looks like it's going to be crazy!

Mini-Mac - love the nickname - wasn't terrible, but he shouldn't be a regular.

Daisy seriously went off reservation, and it almost got Fitz and the Macs killed.

Also, her information gathering was exactly what Mac was against.  But that wasn't what she proposed when he objected.  She proposed exactly what was done to her in episode one.  Grab someone, drop them in a box, and question them.
