Having both games, it somehow sounds more appropriate than it should :D

Look up RUINER. This one comes with a cyberpunk theme and simple RPG system.

I've been replaying Fallout 3 the last couple weeks. Its been 10 years since I last played it, so I've forgotten enough to make it an adventure. I love this game series.

Same via XBox PC Game Pass (it was $1 for a month, so why not?) on Win10. My thoughts about the aesthetics:

- Writing and general gameplay is very New Vegas.
- Steampunk interface borrows from Arcanum and Bioshock.
- Saturated art direction from No Man's Sky.
- Companion characters have a lot in common with the Firefly crew. Parvati is basically Kaylee Frye, which is awesome.
- RPG system uses category distribution which feels mildly Shadowrun'y.

The flaw system in the game is interesting.

Some flaws are a lot less of powerful than others- the addiction to the basic healing item is nearly just a free perk point, for example.

Oh, and just for fun, take the robot phobia flaw and try talking to SAM.

Been playing Death Stranding for a little bit. So far the game is bizarre, makes little sense at the moment (I just got started, so, stuff may get a bit clearer later on), and a fetch(Delivery) quest/walking simulator extravaganza...Yet, I'm really enjoying it.

I had decided I didn't really want to play Death Stranding, but everything I hear about it is so bizarre that it is really tempting.

Got to kill missile launcher before it does too much damage and kill the operator so he doesn't repair it. Cloaking is a great way to make the missile salvo miss you.

On an oldschool gaming kick. Morrowind is now on tap. Been quite a while since I last played it, and to boot, I never actually finished it. I'd get bored after doing a million different side quests and put it aside. Think it's time I actually take on the main quest.

When I played last time some weeks ago, it was The Settlers, English PC floppy disk version. Runs just fine in DOSBox. Except SVGA resolution where mouse cursor flicker.

I have Masters of Magic for my DOSbox gaming. That's some oldschool fun too.

The main story in sword/shield is pretty booboo even for Pokémon standards. It’s not so much an rpg as running from gym to gym while the story happens around you and you occasionally witness it advance. I’ve already got six of the eight badges and the interaction with the game world is more bare-bones than the original games from 1996.

As the target audience is literally kids, i don’t really even expect much - but this doesn’t hold a candle to much older games in there series like Platinum or even Gold/Silver (and that’s not even nostalgia. I only played silver for the first time two years ago)

I still need to play subnautica!! It is Extremely My Jam.

My wife just bought another Switch so we can play Minecraft and Splatoon together, so that's basically all that's happening in our house. Splatoon 2 is extremely fun, such a good example of good gamefeel.

Getting really close to beating The Outer Worlds.

Loads of fun.

Thinking about what I'm going to play next. Either Greedfall or go back to Battletech now that it's got a bunch of patches and DLC.

Not at all like The Outer Worlds, but confusingly similar in name is Outer Wilds, which is actually my favorite game. It's like a lunar lander murder mystery but for the universe and it's very sad and beautiful.
