Here's my take on the MAC Monster from Robotech. It is not a Superheavy.

This keeps its artillery monster theme going.  Slow as heck, and not very strong.  Its armor is mostly there to take up weight I couldn't fit (and putting more ammo in seemed counter to the original).

I've always used a Clan SH 200ton Chassis for it. 4 Gauss Riles in the torsos, and 3 LB-2-X in each arm.

I don't remember exactly how I built it, but IIRC I made it 200 tons, 4 thumper artillery, and 6 TBolt-5.

I built several versions as a way to give MegaMekLab a test ... then renamed them slightly for tact. [grin] Had to use Clan tech to get what I wanted out of the 100-ton chassis, but I've been using them as opponents in giant-slayer type games. And it's as nimble as the original MAC-2 Monster.

The base model (MONS-2A) mounts four LB-10X in the torsos, with ER Mediums in the arm mounts. Ammo is stored in the shoulders (for several reasons - ease of reloading, there was space there, and it helped reduced the impact of ammo explosions).

Things that I have learnt through clicking too fast on 'Move Done' on MegaMek: Double-check the CF of the building before jumping onto it, check artillery arrival times before standing in the neighbouring hex, and don't run across your own minefield.

"Hmm, I wonder if I can turn this into a MM map."
