And the unit's founders were non-heroic troops from the losing side of Anton's revolt.  They ran for Galatea, filled out their TO&E and took a job from Liao of all people.  A job on the Periphery edge of that realm.  And the Capellan secret service still managed to drive them to seek "lost treasure" on Astrokaszy...  ^-^

And for the record I just kinda found this Panther, the former user was no longer able to pilot it, so under the old rules of finders keepers; so I kept it.

I can help out with ground operations if needed, but I am great with the PPC

Indeed!  I don't think Smoke has done a rotation at the OLF yet, but that's coming... it's going to take all the 'mechs with two hands to move that landing craft...  ^-^

Ok, next post is up in the story thread.  There are still things to be sorted out with the Athena situation, but that's relatively under control at the moment.  It will probably go OUT of control when the Major tries to explain it to Lieutenant Commander Fury...  ::)

Maybe there a old BattleMech Recovery vehicle in the outpost, that and trailer in theory could move it...maybe.

well if we get it on the recovery vehicle can we "support" it with mechs to move it?

kinda like putting a heavy load on a dolly to move it like so and then using the mechs to support it on the sides.  Maybe taking a bit of the weight off.

and by the way.. good luck keeping Athena out of things..  short of hogtying her

There used to be a recovery vehicle at the OLF, but it wasn't there when the Wolf Skinners found the place.

Master Truck has the "Heavy Hauler" SPA ("Heavy Lifter", but for vehicles).  He'll figure it out eventually.

He's the driver of the BMRV... as long as Master Truck is commanding it, the vehicle gets access to his SPA.  You have an opportunity to help him figure out how to move the Landing Craft to the crash site...  :)
