NFL 2020-Hopefully starting on time
« on: 17 March 2020, 08:30:20 »
And the 2020 league year kicks off with signings! And Brady saying goodbye to New England! And Houston being stupid!

Darth Bill has been trying to move on from Brady for a while now so it isn't surprising that he finally got his way.

The end of The Evil Empire.   xp

The only question is what does Brady have left? His drop-off last season wasn't solely the Deflatriots giving him nothing to work with.

Can't wait to see the Bills win the AFC East.  ;D

Brady has been phrasing things in a way to indicate he'll still be at the very least involved with football a bit longer.

I do tend to think it'd be best if he moved to some sort of off field role but there are teams that'd snap him up.  A couple that I'd even rate Brady as a downgrade versus what they have now.

Brady current comments have been screwy much like his Hulu ad from the Superbowl?

Signing Brady to work with your future QB isn't necessarily a bad thing.

They are reporting Rivers to the Colts and Brady to Tampa Bay.

Not many starting gigs left for Winston, Flacco and Newton. Someone's gonna lose out there.

The disgruntled Darius Slay was traded to the Eagles today, and in return Detroit gets a 3rd and 5th round picks.

Speaking of legends at the bank, Tom Brady inked a deal with the Bucs worth $50 million over two years.

That's a ton of cash for QB who is on the decline. Here's hoping that the Bucs OC can design an offense similar to what he ran in NE. If not, expect failure more than you would success.

Tom Brady is the Bucs OC for for all intents and purposes- I heard he'll get a say in personnel too.

Looking at cheering for the Bills this coming season, if Vedvik manages to grab a slot on the team.

all staff laid off and no plans for next year seems like the "mostly dead" situation in the princess bride. could billy crystal and carol kane pull out a miracle? possible, but unlikely

It was unlikely enough to get another season before all this mess so odds seem especially not good at this point.

Nah, Palpatine is still there, he's just ditched Vader.  Belichick has always been more  key to the Pats success than Brady.  Hell, the year Brady went down week 1, he handed the reins to a guy who hadn't started at quarterback since high school, and still went 11-5.

I’m not a Pats fan, so understand that this is grudging praise.  But I can’t help but be impressed with the Pats front office.  Gronkowski was retired.  They were going to get 0 production from him this year.  Instead, they send Tampa a retiree, and in return get to turn a 7th round pick into a 4th.  They literally got something for nothing.  Anybody that says the Pats dynasty was over because Brady left is fooling themsleves.  *This* is the wizardry that’s made the Pats dynasty.
