Anyone know if the Toad Points are available in plastic yet? Just the Points only, don't want the whole box.

Thanks

Do you mean metal? Because this isn't the thread (or forum) for plastics.

metal yes

plastic will probably only ever be sold in sets of five or the two you get in the clan box, at least for the foreseeable future. i had to go to the ebay to find a 5th point to accompany what came with my two boxes. metal will probably cost you less

That’s an older sculpt isn’t it? Perfectly good, but not based on the Kickstarter art.

Q1 releases came today. Pretty standard assembly. Minsk was the most complex and that wasn't anywhere near difficult compared to some of the 3145 stuff

Did the Q1 non-mech stuff Release as well?

I see they are on the new releases page on IWM. I just wasn’t looking for them the other day I guess.

I have the Q1 mechs ordered from my local store, but the store owner says he still can't get the distributor to tell him when to expect them.

Is this still the thread for finding list of upcoming IWM minis? I didn't see anything for Q2 or Q3 yet and there's nothing on the IWM website either. Thanks!

IWM's release schedule has really been slow since The Thing last year.

Yeah, it has been slow in posting the schedule. A lot of that has been adjustment due to delays in different areas.

I think we all figured the schedule would have issues this year.

Is there anywhere that has a list of minis that will be usable for the IlClan era yet? My campaign group is doing a 100-year timeskip from 3050 to 3151, so I figured that'd be useful.

Short form, no. The Master Unit List covers era availability (for all chasses) up to the Dark Age, and that would be good enough for early IlClan; you'd have to work out which ones had minis & which don't.

Similarly, the Recognition Guides do provide examples of units active in the IlClan era which are KS minis, but no collated lists - yet.

The MUL is a magnificent resource, managed by volunteers, so we appreciate their work and wait as patiently as we can ;)

* Because Battletech is a conspiracy by Habsburg & Bourbon pretenders - MadCapellan
* The Hellbringer is cool, either way. It's not cool because it's bad, it's cool because it's bad with balls - Nightsky
* It was a glorious time for people who felt that we didn't have enough Marauder variants - HABeas2, re "Empires Aflame"

To be fair, I was just wondering what new metal minis I should be buying that I can play for the upcoming IlClan era, after the past 3 years of buying 100+ different Battletech minis.

My bad for trying to jump ahead of the horde.

As a general rule: Everything is usable.
Overall, not many BattleMechs have gone completely extinct, and i find it unlikely you'll have many of those.
Now, not all 'Mechs might not have advanced variants upgraded to Dark Age standards, but you probably don't need to be running around in introtech variants though.

Worktroll has the right of it. Seeing what is there for DA availability is the best option. We have barely started work on post-3151 so it’s not worth waiting for if you want to buy now

I think the 'easiest' answer is to use the table of contents from TRO3145/50 and the released RecGuides (which Sartis has a list of somewhere) then see what is on IWM or coming in Wave 2 plastic.

Actually, KS Plastic is the simplest answer . . . everything made for the KS seems to be getting at least 1 new variant.  My above answer is the next easiest and would offer 'new' designs to go with the recurring chassis.  Because everyone in the League wants that Juliano keeping pace with their new Marauder, Crusader and Shadow Hawk.

Basically anything that's not Primative mech, a Word of Blake mech, or a Homeworld Clan or Society mech will probably be around in some form or another in the IlClan Era.

Heck, long after the Mackie was thought extinct a few have popped up.  And I think there were even a few built in the Jihad era. In the old GDL books one character built what he thought was a extinct design for his own use. A Highlander.
