I sculpted them. ;) The upper torso was a production part, not master. Legs as well, but heavily modified. Shrinkage through the molding process was significant. None of them were totally new sculpts. Existing minis were modified.

I buy from US retailers all the time, they ship with UPS, it's usually faster and cheaper than USPS.

I would suggest buying from other US BattleTech retailers before the increase then.

I need to double check New Zealand. I know Australia USPS just started sending some packages again.

UPS and FedEx is not cheaper for a company the size of IWM to ship internationally. The rates companies pay differ based on their size and how much they ship.

Do you have any idea what percentage prices will increase by? Doubling material is huge, but final price also includes labor and fixed costs, which are.. probably not going up as much?

They haven’t hit retail yet. Once they do IWM observes a period of store exclusivity for a month or two before making them available on the webstore

Spring 2022 release have not come out yet and are still several weeks away. We had a chance just before I posted them so we are waiting for the 4th mech to come from the printer.

I'd like to echo this question, even if all we get is a ballpark answer. I'm currently sitting on a small list of items I want to pick up, and if the price bump is anything but trivial I think it'll push me into ordering ASAP.

Just from idle interest (having just dropped a pre-price-rise order),

- What is the current best selling BT mini?
- Pick one BT mini which hasn't sold this year?
- Any idea of the non-store average order size?
