Man, this is BattleTech!  There are ALWAYS "Rumors"!   :D

I don't know GRUD?

Still haven't seen the First Mark I Clan Omniset that would make one cry, hear about it, but no...

See, we're to be made to believe these Clan Invasion Omnisets are Mark IIs...

Battletech never has rumors.  There's only confirmed facts no one can remember the source of that don't always turn out to be true anymore.

Release schedule posted to IWM's new social media. Nice to see the standard Awesome to round out the AGAOC stuff but the rest is pretty disappointing. Urbanmechs are popular but we're about to get a plastic box with a bunch of variants and the Arrow version is so easily kitbashed, and people potentially have tons of donor chassis from the company box. Standard Warhammer with no variant bits seems like a major missed opportunity to make that purchase useful at all. Why isn't there a new modern era 'Mech in there? There's still IlClan book models to do, or any of the missing modern Ghost Bear models would have been a great tie-in to the release of DD. It feels like there's no coordination at all between CGL and IWM's release plans.

I think it is great that they are pushing more social media content to get themselves out there. It's a smart move.

Also they have an office cat, which makes them automatically good people.

So we've got the Awesome (8Q / 9Q), UrbanMech (R60 / R60L / AIV) and Warhammer (6R), but 20-5214 is still unaccounted for..

Bit sad that there are no options for the Hammer.. ah well.

New metal minis from IWM! I think we can all be thankful for that.

The AWS-8Q/9Q will be amazing, especially if I more in scale with the plastics. I'm hopeful they got the scaling right!

No options for the Warhammer right NOW . . . but there has been models they rolled out and then released a alternate for recently.

I was playing a game with Anthony Scroggins last month and he said that he'd been pushing IWM to get the Urbanmech out for a while in order to make sure it released before the lance pack, but they'd had serious delays due to all the illnesses that had been ravaging their employees over the last year.

Ooh the Awesome looks good in both 8Q and 9Q format. I got the missile variant figure and it looks great.

It will also be nice to get a nice new Warhammer that doesn't have a crooked upper torso. The plastic 6R Warhammer mold definitely has issues.

There is some pics on IWM's new twitter and on the same mold as the Urbanmech, Awesome and Warhammer it looks to be a hover vehicle hull.

That's the underside of a Saladin. The bits to the right are the fins and gun for it. Looks like we're getting another variant.

I'm not even sure what the point of a variant Saladin would be: there's only three canon variants that I now of: the weaponless Cargo variant, and the LB-X and Ultra variants which honestly don't feel like they're different enough from the original to be worth it.

Could it be that the previous master mold for the Saladin was worn out / needed to be replaced ?

Wouldn't mind a Saladin II, but that wouldn't look like the OG.

Wait and see, I guess.

Right??? Very disappointing. At least put out some new mechs and some variants. It's getting to the point where I'm going to expect some of the new rec guide mechs to be out in plastic first.

Agreed, meh on more urbanmech in general. Would have been thrilled with a mad cat iv, shrike, jade phoenix, iron cheetah....something exciting. CGL likely won't get around to doing ilclan stuff in plastic for a good while, IWM could have filled that void more in the meantime, oh well. I got my first hierofalcon in the mail yesterday, and it's quite a fantastic sculpt...makes me wish for the jade phoenix.

Yeah, I would have preferred a Inferno Prime, Firestorm (eh, a SCat can proxy), or the Mastodon for my Bear friends.
