Well, the last three years have been rather disruptive for IWM.
It really has been. I'm hoping they are soon to be on the other side of it.

I just hope that IWM can soon manage a more aggressive release schedule.

Except Warhammer, Marauder, Rifleman, Archer, Timber Wolf, Dire Wolf, Warhawk, and Phoenix Hawk are more likely to sell than the Inferno, Rawhide, Eris, Hermit Crab, etc.

Definitely a point, and I'd encourage them to do everything on that list. I'm not so sure about Hellbringer, battle Cobra or Howler getting priority treatment though. I expect Hammerhead and maybe even inferno to outperform them.

Spad Spad Spad Spad Spad Spad Spad.

I need it.

SO. MUCH. SPAD.

A friendly reminder that the release of a Spad mini is literally getting three birds with one finance, because it also gives us the Umbra* and Issedone fighters.

*and right now we have zero minis for RotS-native fighters. Seriously, nothing at all.

Just saying, I won't put words in Weirdo's mouth but... Me, I'd put down triple-digits for a Spad to happen. My Belters and Blakists need them badly.

On a ground-based note, if anyone wants to pull to coordinate for financing the Eurus, I can chip in a little there.

I'd put money into the Spad as well. Would also like to see the Amaris Battleship if possible.

Query : are the IWM Marauder dorsal guns the same as the optional MAD guns in Mercs KS Legendary II and III ?

We don't know yet.

Like stated we don't know for certain but with how the minis are produced now and comments in the AMAs about how with the new Legendary Mechwarrior packs we will be able to make almost all canon Marauder variants it is extremely likely that the weapon sprue and the new plastic Marauder guns are the same designs with only minor differences due to the mold making process.

GHQ stuff is great looking, but too tiny, even compared to IWM infantry. When a modern 60-ton MBT is about as big as a 'Mech's foot, there's problem in my mind's eye.

And good luck, SPAD enthusiasts (and I'm resisting the temptation to say "all three of you") - but frankly I'd back more republic/dark age/ilclan era vehicles. We're seeing the 'Mechs, let's get the R-10s, the JI2A1s, the Skadis, the Anats, the Recog Guide tanks, that are available to multiple factions. But that's my preference.

At the end of the day, IWM got to make commercial decisions.

Quick...

Everybody should donate a measley largest lowest single amount of money in a IWM slush fan fund.

Talking around the One Dollar or equivalent currency.

With over ten grand in fourmites and double that not registered... We should get about $16k give or take...

That way, someone could CAD either a 3D and sell that, or cast a set with random others for a profit

Any word on the T-Bolt and other late Variants, Speck?     Seems like a Commando variant is the other one long overdue?   :undecided:

IIRC there was also a Griffin variant that was being worked on at one point.

Certainly true, but it's generally easier to make a new mini when you can recycle at least some of the parts, whether that's legs, the torso, or the arms, from an already existing mold.

Waiting for my Marauder guns to ship and excited to build some variants.

It would be a nice build option if there were alternate pose Catapult legs available. There's a nice variety of Catapult variant kits (LRMs, Arrow IV, PPC versions) and the new sculpt is just gorgeous.

Would IWM be able to get the different pose legs from the K2 Catapult in the CGL Gray Death Legion Force Pack and produce them in metal?

At the end of the day, IWM got to make commercial decisions.

Agreed.  IWM has been a solid partner for Battletech and we all want them to succeed.

From what I've seen, I think IWM's latest ilClan era minis are some of the best B-Tech minis ever produced, including the CGL plastics.  They may cost (much) more, but the quality is no longer an issue as it was just years ago.

I'm in favor of them continuing to release ilClan era minis and "variant/configuration" versions of existing CGL/IWM minis.  Once the excitement of the second Kickstarter is done and CGL can invest more energy in promoting the current ilClan era, I think there will be more interest in the latest IWM minis and variant/config parts.

From the supplied picture on IWM, I'd say the middle one is the large laser, and the one on the right is the gauss. Sometimes the barrel itself can give hints too.
