Battle mat with hex grid
« on: 23 November 2020, 17:51:58 »
Anyone know where I can get a battle mat with a hex grid on it besides Hotz Mats?  His site no longer responds.

Deep Cut Studio has PVC, Cloth and Neoprene materials, upon which you can have printed one of their designs, or provide your own design. They also allow you to have hexes of whatever size, colour and thickness printed on there. Depening where you are, the postage might be a bit much for you though, they're located in Europe.

There's also;

Tiny Wargames
Gamemat EU
Pwork Wargames
Frontline Gaming
Tabl War
Urbanmatz
Mat by Mars
Cigarboxbattle
...plenty more as well...

been meaning to replace part of my old battlehex set with a flexible battlemap as well. since that used 2 inch hexes it has been tricky finding options. (i want to keep the hills and the water sections i made, just want to compact the set by getting rid of the 1ft square styrofoam baseboards.)

Company called Stratagem sells a couple of neoprene hex maps on Amazon.  I have their non-hex versions of the same maps for Alpha Strike and I'm very happy with the quality.
