On 195. TM, it says;

Quote from: Weapons Bays and Firing Arcs
To determine the maximum number of plasma weapons allowed in a bay, first find the average heat generated by that weapon attacking. Add this heat to the weapons attack value and use this figure to determine max bay damage.

But what is the 'average heat generated'? By 140. TW, Plasma Rifle has 10 attack value, and it cause 1d6 heat against heat-tracking unit, and +2d6 damage against rest of them. Then is it means, take 1d6 heat against heat-tracking unit and find the average of it(in the case of Plasma Rifle, average of 1d6 - 3.5) and add it to the attack value, right? Same for Plasma Cannon, which is 2d6 heat against heat-tracking unit so average of 2d6(7) is the attack value of it?

Also, in the case of Plasma Rifle, is it round up(10+4) or down(10+3)?

We'll be adding errata to TM:

To determine the maximum number of plasma weapons allowed in a bay, first find the average heat that weapon can deal to a target (round normally if necessary). Add this value to the weapon’s attack value and use this figure to determine max bay damage.

So 14, in the case of a plasma rifle.
