How slow can an aerodyne DropShip be and still fly?

Basically that.  I'm away from my books, and it suddenly occurred to me to wonder.

I know a D'S or small craft beer a 3/5 thrust rating to reach orbit, but does staying in a planet's atmosphere allow me to go slower?

Technically a 1/2 thrust profile will fly. That's still an airspeed of 360 km/hr at safe, which isn't terribly fast, but definitely faster than most early aircraft.

Yeah, that.  You can't cross the atmospheric interface at anything less than 3/5 (as you noted), but as long as you're not doing that, anything goes.
