Are vehicle articles exclusive to you? I mean, if someone wants to write about the Pegasus, they can, no? Never saw anything indicating certain types of articles are exclusive to certain folks.

I've been trying to encourage someone to run with it, to be honest. No one has. If you want the Pegasus, go nuts, I sure won't be.

My concern was that some might be interested in writing but feel like they're stepping on some toes.

I won't touch vehicles.
Got enough work revising my existing 'Mechs, along with other stuff.
So much stuff to do, so little energy...

I do a lot of articles for other sites, which tend to eat into my want to make them for BT, however if no one objects. I suppose I will take on my own request and attempt a write up for it.

Feel free to do so.  If not, I'd be happy to do it.  I might even be able to get it done by next week.  I don't think I have much going on this weekend.

I probably would be working on it over the next two weeks, so if you can get it up sooner then I will let you do so.

Does anyone have a list of vehicles that have yet to be done? I suspect that at this point that's shorter then those that have been done.

I would like to request either two separate articles or a big combined article about the Heavy LRM Carrier and the Light SRM Carrier.

Heavy LRM carrier has an article already:
https://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php/topic,9168.0.html

And there's an article that covers standard weapon carriers:
https://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php/topic,41446.0.html

The only one lacking an article is the Light SRM Carrier but it doesn't fundamentally differ from the weapon carriers or the Striker.

If no-one has done the Gladius (and my searches haven't turned up an extant article), I'd like to volunteer.

I know there WAS one out there, because I had to pass on doing one a few years ago of my own because it existed, but even if it does exist still, it's old enough that it could probably use fresh eyes anyway. Hit it up, always a favorite of mine for Periphery/el-cheapo raid forces.

If there was one, it hasn't been on these forum iterations because search doesn't come up with one. Unless the entire thread was deleted?
(Was actually looking for Gladius article a couple of weeks back.)

Are there any articles on the Fulcrum or J. Edgar hovertanks?

I tried a search for "votw fulcrum" and it came back with no results, I tried to search for "fulcrum hovertank" and got told my last search was less than 30 seconds ago, try again later.

We do have article directory, ctrl-f there.

J. Edgar:
https://bg.battletech.com/forums/fan-articles/vehicle-of-the-week-j-edgar-light-hover-tank/

No Fulcrum.

For search, just search the unit name, skip VotW etc. because those might not be in thread names. Also recommend limiting search to Fan Articles board if looking for articles.

It appears the Fulcrum was reviewed back in 2006 and was probably never rolled forward to this version of the forums as we know it.   I'll be willing to take a stab on it, but it might be a couple weeks before I can get around to it.  It falls under 'fun vehicles that never get to use' list.

*update- I plan to have something out before the end of the week

Was the Yellow Jacket ever formally covered in a VotW? I've read the... spirited discussions :P, but found no actual article.

Aside from this "tell me about" concerning the Arrow IV variant, there's no article.

Any previous articles have been from previous forum iterations and are not readable any longer most likely.

Fair warning: 90% of a Yellow Jacket VotW thread WILL consist of folks who think they're well-meaning trying to warn players about how bad it is, so that future generations don't make game-losing mistakes like picking up a Yellow Jacket record sheet. Also, much discussion of a ruleset that hasn't been in effect for about fifteen real-world years.

Well, I'll just have to make sure I game it out myself. Which current iteration of the tabletop rules do I reference for VTOLs?

There was a Yellow Jacket article requested several years ago, and I had it essentially done, other than adding in the image tags, doing a once-over with the spell checker, and hitting 'post'... only to find that the person who requested it (days prior!) had decided to post the 'tell me about' thread instead. I still have the original article, if anyone cares, though it's several years old now and may not have recent information included.

Cool, post it please!
I do not believe any info about the Yellow Jacket has changed since. Seems that the latest variant to it was in RS3085ONN which was released... I don't know, decade+ ago? Close enough anyhow.

We don't appear to have added any variants since TRO3085, which was a while ago, so you're probably in the clear.
