Several days ago, I finished up Pokemon Concierge, it's a really good and relaxing Stop-motion Netflix series.  If you're a Pokemon fan, I do recommend it.  PS  Not sure where to post this at

ok started to watch rebel moon is it me or it seems that 1/3 of dialog had been cut out? i mean characters are so under developed  due to that you cant root for them at all you just want them to do is to die to make movie go fast and end
visuals are smooth tho

Allegedly, there's a longer Snyder Cut that has all the plot that the Netflix release cut for time.

But as the Honest Trailer said, this was the script for a Star Wars movie that the people who made Rise of Skywalker passed on.

my neighbor had an emergncy so she dropped off her kids...no prob kids are both in love with me and in fear of me.....go figure
put on an older movie with brandon fraiser and brooke shields furry vengence so far we are at least kids are on 3rd bowl of popcorn and laughter at least on part of the kids so painful we had to stop the movie 5 timesand rewind it to begining of the scene
ok ok its a kid movie that 7 or 10 year old can enjoy more than adults...
i think next one i will put on is either trilogy of terror or puppet master...my oldest is a bit of a horror nut...had been since she was 5

Was that the one where the forest animals ganged up on Frazier's character, who wanted to 'develop' the area?

Been doing a run through some B-rate disaster fliks, by Echo bay entertainment.  Last on the list, was Meteor from 2000 or so, a tv movie (3 hrs almost).  NOT bad, but why is it in so many of these sorts of films/shows, the 'savior' person with the info that can help, seems to always be a 'former scientist now disgraced'??

It's a convenient plot point to insure that they're isolated and lacking in money.

Decided to rewatch Transformers: The Movie.

I had forgotten just how much strobing effects were used in it.  It's pretty hard on my eyes now.

Watched Ad Astra;  so, the dialog is boring unless you like Brad Pitt or Donald Sutherland.   The astronomy is good; just, some minor problems like, OK, so, on the Moon, you can't erase a foot-print; it stays their for centuries; if you have people living on the Moon, their vehicles are going to leave tracks and eventually the entire surface will have tracks on it.

Everyone living in space has mental-issues.

If I were young, I'd really dig the use of deep-space vehicles and OTVs etc.

Dianna and Ham Tyler were my two favorite characters from V, the film, V the mini series, and V the final battle.

I hate that movie. I saw it when I was a kid and hated it, then I didn't watch it for like 35 years, but maintained my impression of hating it. Then, because it was in the cheap movie bin at Walmart, I decided to give it another chance. Kid me was right. I still hate that movie. I just do not understand its appeal.

tbh? i liked the book way better i still have the book from my schools library...and it traveled with me over 5k miles in almost 45 years
it was a give away when we had to watch the movie in school for english class and our librarian got the books as promo from scholastic
oth that movie was almost spot on exactly as a book something you never see even today
oth it kept the kids quiet lol got them talking about the growing up and feelings....something kids normally dont do at all

Was recentlly re-watching the fiilm "The Crazies", with Timothy oliphant. AND was wondering, HOW THE govt would have covered UP the issue that happened in that town. THE NUKE would eliminate the evidence, but then how would they 'spin' the explosion, SINCE THERE are no nuke power plants, to my recollection ANYWHERE near the supposed town of Ogden marsh, near "ceder rapids.

The other part that always got me, was HOW SWIFTLY the govt seemed to mobilize the military to take the town out, YET we never get told HOW?

"Rebel Moon" and "The Creator."

Moon had a couple of interesting shots, folks silhouetted against the sky or posing like Greek statuary, and some slow motion scenes, followed by more slow motion scenes, with some slow motion scenes in between.

The Creator had a couple of interesting shots, giant megatanks attacking a town, scifi SE Asia, and some baffling plot choices followed by baffling plot choices and you get the idea.
Author, "Inverted" (Shrapnel #4), "Undefeated" (#10), "Reversal of Fortunes" (#13) and "The Alexandria Job" (#15)

Zack Snyder? Yep. That's his one trick. His movies could shave 30 minutes off the run time if played at normal speed.
