Has there been any word on the Inferno?

Also, Weirdo, let me know if you end up passing around the hat for the Rondel and Cutless. I recently found an Alpha Strike group that uses ASF, and man does not live by Daggers alone.

I came here to check if there was any word on the Doom Courser.  Ah well.
Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?

In regards to the Wasp or Flea, are there any plans to offer updated sculpts of either of them? I have the special release version of the wasp, which while being a lovely sculpt, has distinctly chunkier proportions than the plastic catalyst one (and was also only available for a limited time)

I also have the newer Ironwind Flea and the new Catalyst Flea, and while they are very similar (outside of a few very minor detailing differences that I think just add character) are also very different in scale-the ironwind one is easily twice as large!

Ironwind hass done a commendable job matching the Catalyst offerings overall, so I'm curious if there are any plans to re-do either of these two mechs to better match the scale of the catalyst miniatures that are coming out?

As new as the most recent Flea mini is, I’m going to guess that replacing it is a very low priority.

Could always proxy a Gùn for the Flea as well?

An alternative approach is to mod the Flea, to be smaller.
This will require removing bits of the waist and legs, but I have done it myself.

Would it be possible to have Warship and Jumpship parts-sprues added to the Scrapyard? I can't count how many times I've had models end up missing a fin or two. Right now I have ... at least four models in need of bits. (Texas 2750, Kirishima, Mako, Dart...)

Also, would IWM be interested in purchasing 3d sculpts of Warship models? I've worked up one of the League DD and am eyeing the Commonwealth CL for my next project....

Re: The Flea.

I did consider taking parts from the Gun, but since I'm already using a Gun (and might buy some more, it's a lovely sculpt) any potential Gun to Flea conversions might stick out a bit more than I'd like in my collection. It's legs and those of the Locust are pretty close in scale though.

For cutting down the metal sculpt to fit the scale of the newer one, I think the old metal sculpt is actually closer scale-wise. (similar height, length of legs) But the 'body' is still rather noticeably larger compared to the new plastic one. I'm not really sure how much I could reasonably cut either the old or new metal sculpt down though and keep a recognizable body section.

Knew it would be a longshot, but I do like the Flea a lot and it would be great to see the modern sculpt more readily available in the current scale. AFAIK there is no plans to release the plastic Flea outside of the Mercenaries box.

On the subject of light mechs, has anyone heard about any plans/talks for any upcoming light mech releases in general? The more recent releases have all been for heavier weight classes from what I have noticed, and there's quite a few light mechs I'd love to see in metal or redone in modern sculpts- Stinger, Wasp, etc.

We've only had 7 miniatures teased this year and all of them have been  variants of a plastic CGL sculpt or resculpt of an existing miniature.

I will always love my IWM miniature collection. I love that i can still buy those rare/archived minis that were made in the 1990s. Just wish that we could get more news on what the future holds.

I saw a post on social media that suggests IWM is releasing a Timber Wolf "A" configuration miniature.  It looks fantastic!

Can't tell if you're joking, but I meant Timber Wolf/Mad Cat "A".  Not the Savage Wolf.

Still have enough Timber Wolves that I will mid one.  Never rushed because it is the only TW that always fails me.  If I run one it will ALWAYS take a TAC early to the SSRM ammo . . . which never happs to the ones I face.

No worries!  Do you think your website will be offering up the render/CAD images of the next IWM wave soon?

As soon as they get sent to me I'll list them as long as they are officially announced...but they haven't yet so even if I had them I couldn't post them till that happens.

I hope we will get some news soon. Usually IWM does their sale around Thanksgiving, so that might bring news with it.

I don't even think they did a 3rd Quarter release.
I don't set an example for others. I make examples of them.

They didn't.  IWM has been mostly doing three releases per year in the last few years instead of four.

Is that three miniatures per year, or three tranches of releases?

Three batches of releases.  Typically 3-5 different minis.

There were 7 miniatures released this year, which I believe is a historical low. However, the quality (detail, proper scale, lack of defects) is among IWM's best in my opinion.

These were on display at the IWM Gencon both last summer.  They said that they were future releases.

Speck already mentioned the Night Gyr D back when the NG Prime was revealed.

All of those look fantastic.

So is that a Mad Cat D on the left and a Vulture C in the center?

It's the variant the Com Guard used for the Battle of Tukayyid.  The ARC-5CS.

A Vulture C?! I'd seen the Timber Wolf variant before (though I'm glad to see the new sculpt getting some love regardless), but I am actually antsy for that Vulture C
