DOS Emulators
« on: 23 June 2024, 21:24:57 »
Hi All,

I now have a real gaming computer and I want to play games on it. I would really love to play old school games like the Crescent Hawk's Inception. But I know my machine is simply to advanced for it. But I have read about software that allows you to play old DOS based games. Is that a real thing and does it really work or is this a pipe dream? Any recommendations?

Note: I am not a programmer or software engineer by any stretch of the imagination so it must be simple and idiot proof.

Like above, DosBox is good to go, although I prefer DosBox-X, for 3dfx Glide and some obscure DOS software emulation.
