Seeking help - mini comparative sizes, please!
« on: 13 July 2024, 20:11:15 »
So I'm planning my next Black Friday buy (very worthwhile if I can save enough to avoid international shipping fees!). Picking cornerstone units for three builds - Capellan Early Republic, Lyran Late Republic, and FedSuns Late Republic. What's bugging me is, will the IWM metals play well with the new plastics? There are many that do - the Reseen Archer, for example, and many others - and some that don't (the metal Hatamoto-Chi looks about the size of a medium 'Mech, alas!)

So please, if you've got any of the following minis, could I ask the following:
- Does the mini play well with the plastics size-wise?
- If possible, could I get a picture of the mini with a similar-weight new plastic mini?
(Eg. for the Yao Lien, next to a Griffin or Wolverine or the like)

Minis I'm considering:

Ebony (light)
Yao Lien (medium)
Osprey (medium)
Xanthos (assault)

Jaguar (light)
Stiletto (light)
Blitkrieg (medium)
Thunder Fox (medium)
Barghest 4T (heavy; the turreted one)

Cuirass (medium)
Sentry (medium)
Watchman (medium)
Rook (medium)
Antlion (medium)

Any and all help very much appreciated! Thanks in advance.
