(Answered) Armored Glove Carrying Capacity
« on: 03 August 2011, 19:57:37 »
Just a minor question on designing a light Battle Armor.

I'm designing a light battle armor with two armored gloves. The intention is that it's armament will be limited to hand-carried support weapons. Do I have to leave aside weight in the BA design for these hand-carried weapons?

For example, if I want it to be able to hand-carry a support pulse laser (150 kg mass with a crew requirment of two) is the suit itself limited to 600 kg of built-in equipment (chassis, jump jets, armor) or is it still built with 750 kg and the hand-carried support weapon is free on top of that?

Armored gloves only work with man-portable devices; if something has a Crew requirement, it automatically cannot work with armored gloves beyond using it as one of the 2 crew members.

Whatever you do carry with the gloves does not count towards the suit's weight limit (IE, 750 kg)
