To my knowledge, there was never a picture of him.

this is what i found on sarna

"Warriors, not war machines, are the backbone of the Hell's Horses. While others worship the BattleMech as the ultimate weapon, the men and women of this Clan see even this awesome piece of technology as the tool it is. We have held to this philosophy since the days of our first Khan, who knew that the value of the common soldier far outstripped the brute force of the BattleMech. It is one reason our Clan possesses fewer mechs than most, and has led many to underestimate our fierceness and courage. Our survival against all challengers when others have fallen proves the folly of such arrogance, and testifies to the wisdom of our founders."

Yes, that is the greatest of the Caulderon's, a worthy replacement to Thomas!

If only we can get him to stop that dirty smoking habit. . . oh, wait.  Someone did. . . ;)

Always wonder how much better a place the TC (and maybe even the IS to some extent) would have been if Jeffrey had not been killed. There would have been a whole intact nation looking to expand it's boarders through colinization and a good high tech economy with trade with the IS and other realms. The CC's invasion of St Ives might have failed, less support of the WoB in the Jihad. Ah, what could have been. sm

If Jeffery had not been killed...

...then Sun Tzu or the Word would have found some other way to off him.

Isn't that really the case of a lot of 'What Ifs', that they'd be returned to the canon soon enough, just through slightly different means.

Perhaps, but I enjoy the "what ifs" that result in a totally different universe.

"What if" Ian Cameron fell off a cliff during childhood?

"What if" General Kerensky had honored the democratic process and accepted Amaris as the duly-elected leader of the Terran Hegemony?

"What if" Jeffrey Calderon lived?

Stefan Amaris was never elected leader of the Terran Hegemony. He just shot the First Lord, sat on his throne, and then looked surprised when Aleksandr Kerensky told him to go to hell. Ah, the good old days . . .

Oh, he DID shoot the spoiled little brat who was busy pissing off every other government in known space.  Not to mention every other Cameron in line to the throne.  It may not have been fair to THEM of course, but them's the breaks.

And then Amaris DID win what actually seemed to be a very fair election to take the throne.  Of course, it was a law that ONLY a Cameron could be the First Lord by that time, so the poor guy had to "settle" for being called Emperor.  I feel so sorry for him...

Or if he'd at least had a clear successor, a nephew or cousin who was at least as decent as him. Hmmm... alternate history thread idea forming.

Although rarely referenced, Emperor Stefan Ukris Amaris renamed either the Terran Hegemony or the Star League, it's not clear exactly what he considered, but he was Emperor of the Amaris Empire. It was mentioned in the Star League Sourcebook.
